Over 5000 attendees came out to Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia for the annual Market of the Macabre on September 14, 2024. My publisher for The Bloodmad Duet, Curious Corvid Publishing, joined me at a gothic book booth along with some of my very favorite authors. It was the first time I’ve sold The Year of Sin & Smoke in person… and I SOLD OUT! It was so incredible meeting all the attendees. Especially those who lit up at the words “modern gothic vampires” and “erotic dark academia thriller.” I had a few buy up my entire collection of books and even one purchase of the Dracula Beyond Stoker issues where my story “Longing for the Sea” appeared.
